Referral Program Terms
How referrals are tracked and rewarded at Retaking Research. For research use only.
One referrer per customer
A new customer can be referred by only one person, ever. The first valid referral we record is the one that counts, and it cannot be reassigned afterward.
Rewards
Referral rewards are issued as store credit, and only on your friend's paid orders. Your friend gets 20% off their first qualifying order, and you receive store credit on that first order. On their later orders, your store credit rate is 10%. Referral rewards apply to new customers only.
Store credit
Store credit has no cash value, cannot be transferred or withdrawn, and may be applied toward future orders on retakingresearch.com. Store credit tied to a cancelled, refunded, or fraudulent order is forfeited.
Abuse and forfeiture
Self-referrals, fake or duplicate accounts, and circular or reciprocal referrals are not allowed. Where we detect abuse or a violation of these terms, we may freeze or remove a referral code, decline a reward, or reverse store credit at our discretion.
Changes
We may update or end the referral program at any time. These terms are provided for general information and do not change the research-use-only nature of our products.
